On October 16, 2024, Fable announced that it raised US$25 million of Series B financing with the sole participant being Five Elms Capital. The company will utilize this new capital towards providing support for individuals with hearing and cognitive disabilities. Furthermore, the company will address inclusivity through the use of digital products.
Fable tests organizations’ websites, apps and software to ensure that they’re accessible to the widest possible range of users, including those with visual and physical disabilities. To do that, Fable has built a community of “testers” who are directly involved in the design process. These technologies include screen readers for users who are blind; magnification tools for those with low vision; and switch or eye-tracking systems for persons with disabilities that affect mobility.
Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP advised Fable with a team consisting of Chad Bayne, Justin Dharamdial, Andrew Irwin, Nik Popovski, Daniel Tyberg and Hailey Chin (Emerging and High Growth Companies).
